If I watch the Before Midnight trilogy (not sure what it's called) do I lose anything plot-wise or character-wise if I don't watch them in order? Will it change my understanding of the film?

if you decide to watch all the films, i’d suggest you watch them in order. otherwise, you won’t appreciate the build-up and all the history the first two films lend to the third. so, i’d recommend either watching the third one on its own or watching all three in order. before sunrise and before sunset are both fairly short, so you could easily watch them both during the day and then see before midnight later that night.

best movie i’ve seen this year so far, by far. the best of the trilogy. i’d like to see an oscar nom for best original screenplay. reminded me in parts of certified copy. julie delpy was off the chain. i’d like to see her get a nomination for best actress, though that probably won’t happen. i’d recommend everyone go see it, even if you haven’t seen before sunrise or before sunset (the movie stands on its own).

Yes, for the free films they do, but they’re not too bad. Hulu Plus doesn’t have commercials but you have to pay for it. Since I’m cheap, I just watch the free Hulu.
