I was definitely happy to see Oldman finally nominated—his performance was certainly the best thing about TINKER TAILOR. The biggest disgust has to be the omission of Fassbender for Best Actor. That’s kind of inexcusable; he does enough stuff in SHAME that’s not NC-17ish. Truly prudish, even for the Academy.
